Bhaktivedanta Research Center
Our mission is to facilitate an inclusive academic environment for national and international scholars.
We want to offer them accredited academic programs including PhD, MA, Diploma and Certificate courses, and excel in qualitative research in the diverse fields. Conferences, seminars and workshops are a regular feature at the BRC They provide a forum for presenting research work, an opportunities to researchers and academicians to exchange views.
BRC has a rich physical collection of over 17,000 books, 4,000 journals and 70 manuscripts covering diverse topics of culture of Bengal. The vibrancy of research programs at the BRC is accentuated by the high-quality publications.

Dr. Sumanta Rudra

Subhankar Mistry
He completed BSC in Geography Hons. from Calcutta University and B.Ed from Kurukshetra University.
He joined the Bhaktivedanta Research Centre in 2018 as a Library assistant. His main task is to scan our rare and old books and make PDFs out of them. Alongside he is also managing our guest house at the institute.
Sourish Das
He completed his B.A.Hons. Journalism from Delhi University and after that he was extensively engaged in learning the History, Culture and the Philosophy of Vaishnavism.
He has been working as a Research Assistant at The Bhaktivedanta Research Centre since 2014. His main task is to assist national and international scholars in their research work by providing materials, retrieving information and translating classical Bengali text into the English Language. Apart from that he is also managing their Research library at the Kolkata Centre.
